• User Profile Information: Unique user ID, email address (for account recovery), display name, authentication provider (Apple/Google), onboarding status, notification preferences, optional personal stressor description.
• Goal & Habit Tracking Data: Goal titles and descriptions, target counts, difficulty levels, goal durations, daily progress, completion statistics.
• Wellbeing Metrics: Daily wellbeing and stress scores (1–10 scale, self-reported), survey completion timing and frequency.
• App Usage Analytics: Screens visited, time spent, navigation patterns, feature usage, session duration, notification interactions, crash reports, performance metrics.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Provide the app’s core functionality (habit tracking, progress monitoring).
• Sync and back up your data across devices.
• Improve Entangled’s design, features, and performance.
• Monitor crashes and technical issues.
• Generate anonymized insights about habits and wellbeing trends.

We do not sell your data to advertisers or share it for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage and Security

• All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
• Stored securely in Firebase (Google’s cloud platform).
• Access restricted to the authenticated user who created the data.
• Strict Firebase security rules prevent unauthorized access.

4. Your Choices and Controls

You have control over your data. You can:

• Request a copy of your data: Email us at entangled.untangle@gmail.com and we will provide a downloadable copy of all personal information stored in Entangled.
• Delete your data: Email us at entangled.untangle@gmail.com to permanently delete your account and all associated data.
• Disable cloud sync: Keep your data on-device only.
• Opt out of analytics: Disable analytics collection in settings.

We will process requests within a reasonable timeframe in compliance with GDPR and CCPA requirements.
